Life from the Point of View of a Pair of Skates - Taylor Wyatt
I was a fresh, clean and an unbroken in pair of skates when she first bought me. I wasn’t the best or newest tool in the shed but I was the hardest working pair of skates there was and I would do my best to perform well for my new owner. She has had me for a whole two years now! Although, I hope my time is not coming to an end, you know how it is, people change and grow out of things and into new ones.
Now, a little bit about my experiences so you can truly understand what a great life I have had. I have been to many different provinces in Canada several times including British Columbia, Ontario, Alberta, Saskatchewan and Quebec for Ringette. All of my experiences in these places were equally enjoyable and I made so many friends during the games. It was amazing being able to hit the ice anywhere between 3-7 times in only a few days during these tournaments and being able to hang out with the other athletes in the change room while the team was warming up.
I always enjoyed chatting with Bauer, she was beautiful with jet black material and yellow trim; probably the fastest on the team, but I always managed to find a way to keep up because, like I said before, I’m the hardest worker there is. I would always be the hardest worker for Taylor until the day I retire.
