Change is Here!

As you know, Barack Obama was sworn in as President of the United States of America early today - noon, Tuesday for the US, but the wee hours of Wednesday morning for us here in Japan! Although I wanted to watch the inauguration, I was fast asleep! But I'll still get to see it. Tonight I'm going to The Pink Cow, in Tokyo, to a big party to watch the great event and celebrate with Obama supporters who live in the Tokyo area. I can't wait!

Many of us who live abroad see the election of Barack Obama as the start of a new, wonderful era for America. I'm so happy about it that it is hard to express my joy. Let's all wish him good luck in such a difficult, but important job.

Good morning!!!

You are positive against politics. It's very good!! Almost all of Japanese are negative.

My mother watched the president's celemony at midnight on TV.

By the way, your X'mas dinner was so delicious and beautiful!!!
