Happy new year, everybody. I can't believe our 10 day holiday is over. Wow, that was fast. How was your break? Did you have a good time? My holidays were pretty quiet, but we did have a nice Christmas dinner with friends on the afternoon of the 25th. Here are some pictures. Take special note of the Yule Log (Chocolate roll cake shaped like a log) and the bread shaped like a Christmas tree.
Turkey is traditional for many Americans, but we served salmon marinated in lemon and dill sauce. It was really good!
