I was searching around for some example essays to use in my writing classes and came across a great website. It was designed by a teacher named Kathy Livingston, and offers a very simple, no-nonsense approach to writing a basic essay. It includes easy instructions for choosing a topic, outlining, writing a thesis statement, writing an introduction, body, and conclusion, and editing tips. In fact, it is just what I would write if I took the time to sit down and do it.
